I am very, excited and pleased to inform all of you that production is complete and shipping will begin this week! This means if you are expecting a copy (or several) of Earthship Model Kit, they're on the way!

Last Friday we visited our manufacturer "3rd Dimension Printing" in Pennsylvania U.S.A. It was great to finally meet the team in person and see how the paper models are being made! Special thanks to Bill Quinn for being an awesome person to work with and taking extra care to make sure this project was executed perfectly.

Very exciting news everybody!
We have received samples from the manufacturer! Yesterday we assembled the first pre-cut, professionally crafted Earthship paper model. It was the first time I've been able to build the model without spending hours cutting it out by hand first, so that felt great :)

We still have to build a few more paper models for quality assurance before we can move forward with production and begin shipping everyone their rewards, but it's looking very promising!

We have also received samples of the informational booklet, which requires a final proof-reading before we can have it published. We are very close!
This is a very exciting time to be working on this project and we really appreciate everyone's patience as we have extended our timeline to ensure we deliver the best quality product possible.

Happy Spring Equinox Everybody!
There are many exciting updates to be shared! Last month we visited with the manufacturer in Pennsylvania to pick up samples of the paper model and check out their shop. Since then, we have been in back and forth communications, to perfect the paper model before finalizing the design and making our order.
There were some changes to the model to make it easier to assemble. One of the biggest changes being the re-designing of the tabs that hold the model together.

Making the tabs more pointed improves the building experience significantly.
We originally anticipated shipping in February/March but, because of these necessary changes, it is now looking like April/May. We wouldn't have done this unless it meant a better product for you, our lovely backers and everyone else who wants to build a paper house without getting frustrated :D
