Happy Valentines Day
everybody! I have a bunch of exciting updates!
Since my last update, I have
been working hard to get the paper model ready for manufacturing. While
doing this, I decided that there was something missing from the design, a finishing
touch, something to make this house into a home.
A family. Mini paper people!!
Now every Earthship model will come with a paper
pop-out family that can be placed anywhere on the floor-plan!
Production Update: The Model
Production is moving forward on the paper model! I've sent the files to the manufacturer and they are going to begin making a (laser cut!) test copy. I should be receiving that copy of the model within the week for me to examine. Once that is approved and everything looks good, we will move on with making the official die for mass production (Woo-hoo!)
Production Update: The Book
I have had to change quite a few photos in the book for several reasons. Poor quality images and lack of photo rights. Ive had to send a lot of emails and do some digging to get the rights to a lot of photos in the book (which there are many). I'm almost entirely finished with this process and can begin with final formatting, barcoding, spell checking and adding a "thank you" page with all our wonderful backers names ;)
Im going to be posting a seperate update specifically for the book later.
BackerKit Surveys:
Thank you to everyone who has answered their surveys! 81% of backers have already responded and I think that is really great! If you haven't responded yet, the survey deadline is the end of February, so that leaves 2 weeks for you to respond to the survey, confirm your reward and give me your address, so I can ship it to you!
Well, that's all for this update. I've got one more surprise that I'm excited to show everybody in the next update! I hope everyone is as excited as I am!

What started as a dream, will soon become reality!
I said: "Together we can put an Earthship in everyone's hands..."
And now... we will!
I'd like to personally send a deep and heartfelt thank you to our 180 backers and everyone who has helped promote this project along the way. There has been a ton of love put into this project for several years now. Your support allows all that hard work to reach its full potential.
I have some really great plans for this project in the future, and I hope to make those come true too. My goal is to make this informational even more acessable to people all over the world by translating it into as many languages as possible.
But for now, this marks the end of a successful crowdfunding campaign and the beginning of something even greater.
It's a step towards a sustainable future, and your all a part of it :D
